From ancient Shinar to our modern sanctuaries, the enemy has never stopped trying to build towers—systems that centralize power, make a name for themselves, and then stamp “In the name of Jesus” on the front door.

In my new book, Babel in the Name of Jesus: Leaving the Towers of Christendom, I argue that Genesis 11 is not a children’s tale; it is divine litigation against the spirit of religious empire. What began as a tower on a Mesopotamian plain has matured into a vast structure we now call “Christendom”, a system that often overshadows the very ekklesia Yahweh birthed at Pentecost.

This book is a trumpet blast for pastors, elders, and serious disciples who sense that something is profoundly off in the modern church, but who refuse to abandon Scripture. It lays out how we moved from a scattered, Spirit-led apostolic body to imperial creeds, denominational brands, and megachurch towers—and then calls us back to the simplicity of one God, the Father, and one Lord, the human Messiah Jesus Christ.
